Take Rate Targets

The initial customer survey reveals in which zone(s) the demand for fiber is the highest and where your most motivated customers are located. This information helps you to decide where to start your build-out and these zones are then moving on to the sign-up phase.

We know from experience that demand can vary greatly even in the same community, city, or region which makes this information priceless.

At this point, you set the individual take rate for each Service Zone (i.e. the percentage of potential subscribers who have been offered the service and that actually do subscribe)

How high or low you set the target is of course individual but typically you want 30-40% of a neighborhood/zone to have signed up before you start building the fiber infrastructure in order to generate enough revenue to keep building the next zone(s).
