Since COS Business Engine is a common platform for all of the involved parties, disputes about billing can easily be avoided.
The subscriber purchases their services on the marketplace and can log in to their “My Pages” at any time to view an updated list of which services have been purchased and when. The identical information will also be available for the service provider and operator within their interface.
The billing data is aggregated in billing reports per service provider with the chosen time intervals. COS Business supports most billing scenarios. The billing data is aggregated in a report suitable for an attachment to the bill. COS Business Engine delivers accurate billing every time and will eliminate disputes about bills.

COS Business Engine’s vendor-neutral provisioning API allows us to automate the service provisioning of your network. We have partnerships with the industry’s largest vendors such as Nokia and Calix– and we are constantly expanding our portfolio of supported vendors and Element Management Systems (read more here). COS Business Engine’s multi-network operation functionality allows us to offer this automation even if you choose to use different vendors in your networks.

In an Open Access scenario you work hand in hand with different service providers to win as many customers and sell as many services as possible. Providers don’t get direct access to your EMS that controls all the devices in your network. However, COS Business Engine creates a user experience as if they were operating their own network and makes it easy for providers to manage functions and capabilities.
The full separation between providers allows every one of them to view diagnostics data from their customers and get insights into how their services are performing.
In a full wholesale environment, the provider(s) can still automatically distribute services by integrating with the COS Business Engine API.

Every dashboard is unique and highlights the data most interesting for that particular user.
A central feature in every dashboard is the “waiting for action” list, this is where anything that requires an action from someone is listed. As long as the action has not been performed and reported back to the system in the correct manner, it will remain on the list. This is designed so that human errors are almost eliminated completely and nothing falls between the cracks.
Reports will underpin your decisions
COS Business Engine includes a set of standard reports that can be printed out of the system on request, and/or designated for a scheduled email to a predefined email address. The reports will yield detailed information on everything from take-rate developments and technical information. Well-informed decisions are the key when managing the business and choosing future strategies.
